Summer Wedding at Mayfair Church of Christ and The Ledges // Wedding Photographers in Huntsville, Alabama
Where to even start with this beautiful wedding day?! We’ve photographed many weddings at The Ledges over the years, and I never cease to swoon over the golden sunset light or the clubhouse’s stone architecture.
After Amanda and Michael’s gorgeous engagement session in downtown Birmingham, we knew they would be so much fun to photograph at their wedding. Model quality right here! There was one moment where we had Amanda dip back, and she went straight into this amazingly graceful dancer position that left the two of us staring in awe for a few seconds before we remembered we were supposed to snap a picture!
We seriously have the best couples.
A Few of My Favorite Details
That. Dress. I’m still dreaming about Amanda’s Hayley Paige dress from Ivory & Birch. She was absolutely stunning in it, and I can’t even imagine a more perfect dress for her. Fun fact: Hayley Paige “Looove”-ed Amanda and Michael’s sneak peek on Instagram!
I loved the bouquet In Bloom created for Amanda! The soft pops of different pink tones were so pretty. Pops of color in a bouquet make me really happy! I think it brings so much richness and depth to all the portraits.
And of course, I can’t skip a shout out to the coffee favors from Honest Coffee Roasters! Coffee will always make my favorite detail list. :) Wedding favors have sure come a long way since our wedding 11 years ago!
August 8 Is The Best Day Ever
During our initial meeting, Michael asked us how we felt about photographing a wedding on our anniversary. How thoughtful is that to even notice in the first place? The truth is, we can’t imagine a better way to spend our anniversary than at a wedding! Every little detail becomes just a little more vibrant when you’re consciously thinking back to all your own wedding day memories.
