We first met Bethany as a bridesmaid in Kelly Marie & Tyler’s wedding almost a year ago. I remember well her quiet sweetness and gentle smile! That whole group was such a joy! Fast forward a few months, and Bethany was planning a wedding of her own. We were thrilled to be invited to capture their wedding this fall!

Bethany came back to town for their engagement session weekend, and God gifted us a little sliver of clear-ish weather in between the rain showers. It was just enough time for their session. It literally started raining as we got back into our car, and I know that it was a sweet blessing God showered on us four. Sweet Wedding Day Memories

They chose to have small, intimate ceremony at Westminster Presbyterian Church on Thanksgiving weekend, followed by a formal reception next year. We’re really loving these intimate weddings! Covid is never a fun thing to plan around, but there are silver linings that have a sweetness we’d all otherwise miss over.

We enjoyed capturing a few pictures of Bethany’s mom helping her with the finishing getting ready touches and two really fun first looks! Bethany had a first look with both her dad and Jon, and they were both Joyful with a capital J! We took a few minutes for some bride and groom portraits before bringing out the bridal party to join the fun.

There is so much meaning in every piece of this wedding day, from the building design to the hand-crafted decor from Bethany’s family’s own backyard. As Bethany’s mom so wisely said, all of those amazing details are a testimony of God’s abundant mercies.
