Where to even start with the amazingness of this wedding day? Nina and Frank celebrated their marriage at the beautiful Huntsville Botanical Garden. After days (weeks? months?) of almost steady rain, their wedding morning dawned in sunshine! The temps were chilly, but it was a small price to pay for the happiness of sunshine.
Nina and Frank made the day so fun for us! They braved the February chill and nestled under every tree canopy and walked down every path we brought them to. We love their enthusiasm for life and their kindness for everyone around them!
One of my many favorite things about their wedding was the way they incorporated so many cultural traditions. Nina’s family is Persian and Frank’s is Italian, and together it created one brilliant celebration!
Not only did the ceremony include a traditional Persian sugar rubbing ceremony, but we got to experience our first Persian knife dance at the reception. And we always love a good Italian Tarantella! Learning about other cultures is one of our favorite things.
I also just loved the enthusiasm that shone throughout every aspect of the day. Every little detail was so well thought out. Both the bridal party and the guests were so fun! It was truly a celebration of joy.
We love working with our favorite vendor friends, but it’s always a thrill to meet new ones! This wedding had a few new-to-us fellow vendors, and we had a blast working beside these talented people!
Nina’s gooorgeous gown came from The White Room Birmingham, and Nina transformed into princess status with stunning lace sleeves and perfect silhouette. Add some Makeup Mel magic and a diamond collection from Sabghi Jewelry, and Nina blew us all away.
As if Huntsville Botanical Garden wasn’t gorgeous enough already, Randy Roper Interiors and In Bloom transformed the venue into something magical. Floral displays towered throughout the reception area. The soft blues and ivory balanced just beautifully with sapphire and greenery.
Phil with Colling Films is uber-talented and so much fun! We’re literally counting down the days until that wedding video comes out. I’m officially calling him a kindred spirit.
After guests had a chance to relax with a drink in their hands, Grille 29 treated them to a delightful plated dinner, complete with the prettiest floral finishing touch! The Answer Band lit up the dance floor after Nikki Mason’s delicious cake, and Grille 29 came through again with mini pizzas, coffee, and baklava for a late-night snack.
Nina, Frank, and their families created an amazing wedding celebration, and we’re so excited to share!!
The traditional Persian knife dance was so much fun to photograph!
Nina & Frank – we are so thankful we had the privilege to spend the day at your sides! You are both sincerely kind, thoughtful, and generous people, and we’re so excited for your future together in the world as husband and wife! Congratulations!!
*hugs*
