This October has been all over the place for our brides and grooms! From 90 degrees and humid to chilly rain, they’ve seen it all. How fitting it is that the last weekend in October came the perfect mix of crisp air and warm sunshine!
Amy and Dillon said “I do!” during their ceremony at Meadow Creek Farm this past weekend. And what a beautiful celebration it was! Meadow Creek Farm was an outstanding backdrop for the warm, rich colors of this fall inspired wedding. Pumpkins, mums, and lanterns graced the decor, while bright pops of sunflower yellow brought an extra dose of sunshine to rich burgundys and grays.
The most sunshine-y part of the entire day, though, was Amy and Dillon. How we love our J&A Couples, and spending the day with Amy and Dillon reminded us why! Something that really stood out to me was how both Amy and Dillon were so empathetic to the needs and comforts of others. Many times throughout the day, one or the other would go out of their way to make sure someone else was comfortable or felt special.
We knew from our first coffee date with them that they were such kind, heartfelt souls. Getting to know them even better at their Hampton Cove engagement session was a joy! They’re truly genuine and caring people, and we’re excited for their new life together as husband and wife!
Little touches, like warm blankets stacked up for guests to cuddle with during the ceremony, adorable sunflower and honey-inspired wedding favors, and Amy’s grandmother’s bracelet and new mother-in-law’s handkerchief added so much to the details of their wedding day. Everything, like their burgundy and yellow color palette, was warm, inviting, and rich.
It’s always a joy to work with the team at Meadow Creek Farm! Amy’s beautiful lace gown from Madison Town and Country Bridal shop was so elegant and the perfect way to highlight her sweet face and beautiful smiling eyes. Taran and Melissa brought out all her natural beauty with their hair and makeup magic! She was stunning!
Working with Jeannie has a special place in our hearts, and we were thrilled to spend the day with her again! Not only did she coordinate the wedding day, but she also knocked the florals out of the park! She and her team at Nip and Tuck always do an outstanding job.
After a beautiful and touching ceremony, the guests were treated to some delicious barbecue and fixings by Old Hickory Barbecue. Funfetti cupcakes by Batter Up Cakes topped off the menu – yuuum!
From one of our favorite First Look moments to sunset twirls and silhouettes, Amy and Dillon’s wedding was a most incredible way to wave goodbye to October.
Heirlooms: grandma’s bracelet and Amy’s new mother-in-law’s handkerchief.
Check out these cuuuute unicorn slippers that Amy and her bridesmaids had! They also make a guest appearance later in the day….!
One of my favorite First Looks. Every moment of this was absolutely precious.
Amy and Dillon have a secret handshake that’s been a special part of their relationship! We snapped some fun pictures of their pinky promises at their engagement session, and seeing it come full circle to the wedding day was amazing!
Our unicorn slippers and their guest appearance. So fun!!
