We were so excited for this Harvest Hollow Farm wedding day to finally arrive! We first met Payton and Jesse when Payton reached out to us about photographing his proposal. Who knew that sweet Huntsville Botanical Garden proposal would be the beginning of such a fun journey together? Once they were officially engaged, wedding planning was underway, and it wasn’t long before we were together again for their engagement session at Indian Creek Greenway. It might be safe to say that Jesse loves pictures almost as much as I do, and I’m definitely not complaining! So many fun memories already, and we hadn’t even made it to the wedding day yet!

Then came the big day in all its sunshiny Alabama beauty. Harvest Hollow Farm is such a beautiful setting for a wedding, with its airy white getting-ready space, stone fireplace, and beautiful open fields stretching out behind the venue. There was such a joyful, relaxed energy throughout the day as everyone got ready and the excitement continued to build. Jesse looked stunning, of course! Judging by Payton’s reaction, I’m pretty sure he agreed.

Their first look is one of my favorite memories from the entire day. There were happy tears, huge smiles, and the sweetest heartfelt vows exchanged between the two of them. It was one of those quiet wedding-day moments where everything else seemed to fade away for a minute, leaving just the two of them together.

From there, the day flowed into all of the fun parts of a wedding celebration. Beautiful portraits, time with family and friends, and plenty of opportunities to soak in the special moments of the day. I especially loved how laid-back their reception felt. There was lots of mingling, catching up, and simply enjoying being together before the dance floor officially opened. It felt less like a formal event and more like a big celebration with their favorite people, which was absolutely perfect for them.

And then came those sunset portraits! I knew Jesse wanted to create a little extra movement in these photos, and the combination of the open field, golden evening light, and the two of them having fun together was absolute perfection. The warm glow, the movement, the laughter all came together to create some of our favorite images from the day.

From a proposal at Huntsville Botanical Garden and their engagement session at Indian Creek Greenway to their beautiful Harvest Hollow Farm wedding, it has been such a joy to watch Payton and Jesse’s story unfold. We’re so thankful they invited us along for every chapter!
