Snapshots of Time: Part 4 – Forever and For Always. Our Favorite Stories of 2015

The reception! This is when some of our most unique, best, and craziest favorite stories come in. The reception is where you finally get to toss those shoes off and soak in the excitement with your family and friends. This is where your story is filled with your personality in all the ways that make it perfectly yours.

It’s the story of a bridal party who came in with choreographed dance moves. The story of secret practice sessions in the upstairs lounge beforehand, and of plenty of laughter in the process.

It’s the story of a high-five for a job well done. The story of those little moments that only last for a brief second, but that fit together to create a most perfect day.

It’s the story of a most perfect first dance, straight out of Pride and Prejudice. The story of twirling around the dance floor together, forgetting for that moment that anyone else exists. One where I almost forgot to take pictures for a second because I was so captivated by their grace and poise.

It’s the story of a father-daughter dance. One that started out so sweetly, like any other, with tears in my eyes, like always. The story of a mischievous look on his face that should have clued me in to what was coming…

It’s the story of a girl and her daddy, in the sweet heartfelt moment, breaking out to Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae). It’s the story of the unexpected, of holding-your-sides kind of laughter, of a story that every guest will still chuckle about years later.

It’s the story of Aubie crashing the wedding. The story of pride and loyalty. The story of community. It’s the story of celebrating a place where so many memories and friends were made, where part of the story was created.

It’s the story of kids having the time of their lives. Where the dance floor is an open stage, and there’s nothing better than to twirl and dance, spin and fly. The memories that they will smile back on as they prepare for their own wedding years from now. The story of time and of possibilities, of energy and of unbounded dreams.

It’s the story of the most precious moments with those you love most. The story of a true snapshot of pure joy.

It’s the story of heritage and family. The story of a tradition that breathes beautiful meaning into the moments. It’s the story of a Russian bread ceremony that symbolizes always having what you need and a commitment to love and care for each other.

It’s the story of a love that spans the world. The story of people from 14 countries and 9 states that came together to celebrate because they know that love is worth celebrating.

It’s the story of celebration and lights as bright as his eyes when he looks at her.

It’s the story of love that grows stronger as the years go by. The story of faithful commitment, of holding each other up through the fun times and the hard times. Of knowing that you will spend every breath loving with everything you have and everything you are.

It’s the story of a sweet and super fun grandpa that couldn’t wait for his turn to dance with the bride. The story of absolutely priceless memories that will be cherished forever. Of family and heritage, of the very sweetest kind of moments.

It’s the story of families coming together. The story of sharing life together, of experiencing this world and all its beauty.

It’s the story of the bride performing an original song for her groom. It’s the story of tears of laughter and the most meaningful kind of gift.

It’s the story of one last dance of the night. The story of a perfect day coming to a perfect end.

It’s the story of a perfectly-timed kiss. The story of the beginning of forever.

It’s the story of one last prank. The story of a car filled with balloons, and of the look on her face when she opens the door…

It’s the story of love. Every story is so unique and filled with memories that can’t be replaced. The story is yours, and it deserves to be told.
