Huntsville Botanical Garden is quickly becoming one of our most photographed wedding venues here in Huntsville, and we aren’t complaining one bit!

Something else we’re not complaining about? How we are privileged to photograph some seriously amazing couples like Molly and Alex! Another bride and groom who make me feel like I’m photographing models straight out of a magazine. I love the moments when their whole faces turn to sunshine because something makes them laugh. Their downtown Birmingham engagement session left us even more excited to get them in front of our cameras again at the wedding!

True to form for 2020, Molly and Alex made the hard decision to move their wedding date from May to September. The wait was totally worth it, though. From our first glimpse of how breath-taking Molly was in her wedding dress to the late-night tacos and toy bubble guns for the grand exit, their wedding celebration filled our hearts with beautiful moments.

A Few of My Favorite Details

The dress. That definitely makes my list of favorite details. Our brides have chosen some incredible dresses this year!! I might have to consider a dress edition of my annual “Best Of” blog series. This one would definitely make the list. Molly looked absolutely stunning!

I also loved the tiny blue pendant that Molly’s grandmother gave her before she passed away. Molly’s mom pinned it into her dress as her something blue. How incredibly special!!

And how could I not mention the Bigfoot’s Little Donuts at the groom’s dessert table? Unique donuts that are scrumptiously delicious made by a local business. That’s speaking our language right there!

They planned so many fun details throughout the day. Late night tacos, toy bubble guns for the send-off, LED light-up jewelry and batons on the dance floor, and an epic table of treats at the bride’s parents’ house while guests were getting ready. This party had it going on!
