The hot weather came back to Alabama for this summer wedding in Huntsville, but even the southern sunshine couldn’t hold a candle to Jamie’s smile! With a stunning bridal bouquet, David’s sweet face as he looked at his bride, and an entire selection of cakes from Edgar’s Bakery, this wedding day was something special!
We could have talked for hours…
The first time we met Jamie and David, our conversation ranged from Cancun and Kwaj to Tim Ferriss, PowerSheets, and Dave Ramsey. With so many things in common – like a love for travel, paper planners, and goal setting – it’s been nothing but a joy to get to know these two and their story!
We met them at Providence Village for their engagement session earlier this summer {and you can check out the fun memories here}. Jake is the most adorable little papillon puppy, and he came along for a few pictures at the end. What a sweetie!
When Jamie and David’s summer wedding day finally arrived, our hearts were are full of sunshine as that August sky. They chose The Summit at Redstone to celebrate their wedding day. We headed up to The Overlook for their First Look, portraits, and the ceremony before returning to The Summit to kick off the reception.
The Dream Team
Kandy with Your Perfect Party helped coordinate the day, as well as provide draping, their lighted monogram, and the music. It’s always a joy to see Kandy again! Jamie’s joyful laughter was the perfect accessory to her gown from Madison Town and Country bridal shop. And that bouquet!! This is the first time we’ve worked with Glenn’s of Huntsville, but Jamie’s bouquet was stunning. Bonus: it smelled amazing. I couldn’t help burying my nose in it as we walked to our different locations!
The Ballroom had plenty of space for the guests to mingle, dance, and enjoy the evening. And the big room was a bonus because Jamie and David’s cake table was epic! They chose a selection of cakes from Edgar’s Bakery here in Providence – and each one looked absolutely scrumptious! Joel and I had a chance to sample some of that deliciousness, so I know they tasted as good as they looked.
