The evening of Chrissa and Jamie’s engagement session at the Huntsville Botanical Garden was everything my October dreams are made of. The weather was a perfect balance of crisp air and warm sunshine. Pathways were lined with leaves just starting to show their fiery orange brilliance. Summer blooms faded away into mature greenery waiting for its time to hide away for a good winter’s rest.

But there’s no doubt that my absolute favorite part of this session was Chrissa and Jamie themselves! They started the session feeling a little shy in front of the camera, but these two rocked it! From start to finish, we had so much fun watching them interact with each other as we snapped the memories.

Chrissa’s eyes light up when she looks at Jamie and he smiles. And Jamie has this really sweet smile that comes out when he looks over at Chrissa. You can tell he adores her!

And this riiiiing! Photographing Chrissa’s engagement ring with plenty of cute pumpkins and mums to style it made for a very happy Amber.

So October + Huntsville Botanical Garden + this sweet couple <— (my favorite part) made for an incredible evening together. We can’t wait to do it all over again at their wedding next March!!
