Shortly after their August wedding, Anne came to us with the idea to go back to Monte Sano every season during their first year of marriage to do a Forever Session.

Today on the blog, we’re celebrating all the seasons of love. Whether it’s fresh and growing int he spring rains, cuddling into winter, or celebrating summer with open hearts – love is worth celebrating. Enjoy this journey of love through the seasons!
Fall!
It’s no secret that we love color! And fall! And Forever Sessions! :)
Jake and Anne had an epic First Dance at their wedding. (Custom handpainted Dr Who Toms wedding shoes, Lego superhero boutonnieres, and a dance straight out of Pride and Prejudice? Yes. So much yes. To see their wedding feature, check it out here!)
They busted out a few of their wedding dance moves at this session. A shout-out to these two for balancing on the stone wall! :)
Winter!
This was one of my favorite sessions! We missed the big snow storm by one day. One day, y’all!! But we managed to get a handful of snowflakes during this winter session! If you look really closely, you can see a few specks of white on their jackets. When you live in the south, you take any little bits of snow that you can!
Spring!
Oh, spring! When you live in the south, you also know that sometimes-not-s0-gentle spring rains are a part of life! The forecast was pretty nasty for the day, but we decided to take a chance and do their session in the rain!
Jake and Anne get the Gold Star Award for being daring with us and braving some torrential downpours! Doing a spring session in the rain seemed so fitting for a four seasons story, and we’re so glad we did! It was definitely an adventure (and we highly recommend some strong umbrellas for everyone!), but the memories are priceless. So priceless.

Summer!
This summer session was also their First Anniversary Forever Session!! I LOVED Anne’s dress because it gave me so many Cinderella vibes. They also whipped out the wedding Dr. Who Toms and Jake’s Star Wars belt! The weather was also so perfect – especially compared to some of the previous seasonal adventures! :)

Second Bonus! Christmas!
And how could we leave our their Christmas Forever Session?! The whole family came out for this one, and it was one of the most fun sessions yet! I still can’t get over how adorable these puppy dogs are in their Christmas outfits! I love this picture so much. :)
These memories are absolutely priceless! Have you thought about doing seasonal sessions during your first year of marriage?? I sure wish we had! I hands down would have added that to our plans! Maybe we can do a a 10 year seasonal session! What do you think? :)
