Shelby and Ellis exchanged vows in an intimate wedding ceremony at The Ledges this past weekend, and what a treat it was to capture it! The family-only ceremonies we’ve had the opportunity to photograph over these past few months have been incredibly special. To be invited into such an intimate circle and meaningful moment is an honor!

Weddings at The Ledges are always absolutely stunning. The elegant castle-like architecture combined with the breath-taking sunsets over the golf course is what our wedding dreams are made of! Sunset portraits at The Ledges are some of our favorites!! We had a perfect sunset glow for a few bride and groom portraits after the ceremony.

We met Shelby and Ellis at The Ledges shortly before the ceremony. Shelby shared a really sweet first look with her dad before walking down the aisle! Winslow Davis, one of our favorite wedding ceremony musicians, elevated the prelude moments with his beautiful music.

One of my favorite moments after finishing up sunset portraits is putting down our cameras, stepping back, and telling our couple to enjoy their wedding day sunset. Especially when you have such a view of the sun drifting below the horizon line, it’s 100% worth taking a few minutes to be present and just let it soak in. I think it becomes a really sweet memory together for them to look back on. I love soaking in those sunsets, too!

And that sunset was one of the highlights of this afternoon, and we can’t wait to share those stunning bride and groom moments!
