Fall Wedding at Burritt on the Mountain // Wedding Photographers in Huntsville, Alabama

After almost 36 hours of rain, Margaret & Sam’s wedding day dawned with clearing skies. There was a lot of rejoicing happening that morning! Burritt on the Mountain even decided to show off for us! We saw some of the clearest views from The View – the famous Huntsville rocket included.

Margaret and Sam bring a whole lot of sweetness to the world. Margaret has a laugh that lights up her face, and Sam is always ready to show some extra kindness. #browniepoints We enjoyed the day with them so much! They rocked the camera and let us try out a twist on some of our go-to portrait locations up at Burritt.

After portraits, we headed off to Holy Spirit Catholic Church for them to exchange vows. After the ceremony, the mountain was the place to go for an amazing celebration!

Helping Hand Parties and Weddings brought their A-game to the day, as always. Being a 2020 (aka Covid) wedding means a lot of extra details to think through. There was so much joy and celebration throughout the day that we sometimes forgot that there was a pandemic going on!

A Few of My Favorite Details

Of course, the view of Huntsville that we get to use as a portrait backdrop! We don’t always get a clear day on the mountain, so it’s extra sweet when the view is stunning at just the right time for pictures.

The team at Metropolitan created a display of string lights over The View that were just perfect. We used them for pre-wedding bride and groom twirls, sunset portraits, and to gaze happily at through the windows at the reception.

Grandmas dancing. Need I say more? Grandmas are my favorite at every wedding. I shared just one or two pictures in the blog post, but my trigger finger was happily shooting away and I have so many fun pictures of this memory.

Enjoy a little peek into Margaret & Sam’s Burritt on the Mountain and Holy Spirit Catholic Church wedding!

Margaret & Sam – what an amazing day we had with the two of you! Thank you so much for letting us be by your sides and capture the sweet memories. You’re full of joy, and we wish you a beautiful life together!

*hugs*
