It may have been a cold, very rainy day here in Alabama, but there was sunshine inside! Charlotte and George just brought the joy with them. Their family and friends were of the epic sort – we hardly noticed the dreariness outside when they were around!

After a special Greek Orthodox ceremony on Thursday, we couldn’t wait for this wedding day to get here. Charlotte and George live in Ohio, so we soaked up every moment we could spend with them! We sipped vanilla lattes with Charlotte a few months ago and knew then that she was someone special!

We officially met George for this first time on Thursday. It was kind of funny introducing ourselves because we felt like we were friends already! Their kindness and genuine love for others makes them radiate joy everywhere they go.

We’re smitten. Just a little bit! And their wedding day was just as sweet as we knew it would be! The Ledges is one gorgeous Huntsville venue. You know I dream in fairytales – and this castle is fit for royalty. The fabulous Kathleen Bernal Events planned and coordinated this entire day. We’re thankful for her! She’s always such a joy.

And Charlotte. Charlotte in her grandmother’s wedding dress. It was one of the most precious details I’ve ever seen on a wedding day. She was beautiful in that dress!! Bridal Hair Huntsville and Nancy Finnegan MUA worked their fairy magic and brought out all Charlotte’s natural beauty. Her Justin Myrick bouquet was exactly perfect for the day.

Our sweet friend at Ledgewood Fine Stationery created the most beautiful invitation suite! It was elegant and so beautiful. We had a chance to hear Felicity String Quartet for the first time, and we loved them. So classy! And we always love rocking to Juice – one of our favorite local bands!

George and his family are Greek, and one of our favorite memories from the day was the Greek celebration on the dance floor! The band turned on some Greek music, and it was like art unfolding before our eyes. The circle wound around into this intricate crescent on the dance floor before somehow unwinding again.

I watched and decided that I wanted to be Greek. ;) I love cultural traditions!

So with this incredible vendor team working their magic, the sweetest bride and groom ever, and a collection of bridal party, family and friends that kept us laughing and smiling all day long, Charlotte and George’s wedding day was one to remember.
