Anyone who is familiar with Infinity Event Venue has heard about the views, and wow! They did not disappoint! Infinity overlooks Lake Guntersville with sweeping views of the entire valley. Stunning! Autumn and Nathan fell in love with those views and celebrated their wedding on the bluff!
Like so many others, Covid dictated some difficult decisions. Autumn and Nathan chose an intimate ceremony and reception with only immediate family and their bridal party. There is always beauty in simplicity, even in the sadness of not being surrounded by everyone you love.
One of the things I particularly enjoyed about this intimate wedding day is all the sweet, in-between moments between Autumn, Nathan, and their guests. The quietness of the day allowed for so many opportunities for them to slow down and soak in the presence of those who were there.
Hands down, Nathan’s ring. I probably don’t even need to confess that Joel and I spent almost a full minute playing with it during the detail pictures. The gears rotate when you twist the ring, and it’s like a built in fidget spinner. It was epic.
S’mores, of course. Nathan roasted a marshmallow so we could take a cozy picture of him sitting by the fire with Autumn. He didn’t really want to eat it, so he happily donated his marshmallow to me, who even more happily accepted it!
The first dances happened just as the sky turned the most beautiful shades of pinks, oranges, and golds. With the lights twinkling in the valley below, it might have been one of my favorite first dance settings ever.
Autumn and Nathan have an amazing story to share with their kids and grandkids someday. They know the meaning of fighting for each other and coming out stronger on the other side. The vows they shared with each other and the words spoken during the ceremony reflected that journey. We respect so much that they know what it means to stop and commit to figuring things out!
We met Autumn and Nathan a couple of years ago when they first began looking at photographers, and we’ve been able to stay connected on social media sense. We all love Huntsville, local, and coffee! Reconnecting with them this year and capturing this piece of their journey has been absolutely amazing.
I know you’re ready to see those sunset pictures on the bluff!
Autumn & Nathan – thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to spend the day at your sides! Especially in these sweet, intimate wedding days, we are so incredibly honored to be part of your day and capture the memories. We wish you the very best in your new adventures as husband and wife! Hugs to you both!
