October is one of my favorite months of the year, and with it we welcome some beautiful fall weddings! Heidi and Rob chose to have their ceremony in front of the beautiful fountain at Creekside Plantation in Mooresville, Alabama. What a simply gorgeous wedding celebration it was! Heidi and Rob incorporated some really sweet details throughout their day, and I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house during some of those reception toasts.
I truly love weddings any time of the year. They all have a unique charm of their own, whether it’s robust vibrancy of summer or the clean, simple elegance of winter. Fall weddings always seem to have a hint of extra anticipation. I think everyone is just so excited about some cooler temperatures, football, and sweater weather. Add this mysterious little element of excitement to a truly magical wedding day in Mooresville, and you have the recipe for an amazing wedding.
Heidi and Rob are so much FUN! We had the best time with them at their Historic Mooresville Engagement Session. You might recognize a few of those backdrops! We started their session at Creekside Plantation and made sure to include that beautiful fountain they used as a ceremony centerpiece. Even in the short time we’ve known them, we can see how deeply they care about the people around them and about each other. It’s been a joy!
Definitely the live painter! Having an artist paint a scene at your wedding is a new trend that I’m totally here for. What a delight!
Another one of my top favorites was the sentimental wooden ring box that held the bride and groom’s rings for the ceremony! I loved the inscription that really highlighted the meaning of the moment. Another favorite was the bride and groom gift exchange. The sentimentally sweet gifts Heidi and Rob chose for each other revealed such deep affection for the things that are important to them in their lives!
Then, of course, there was the fact that the ceremony was held in front of the fountain. Most ceremonies we’ve seen are on the steps of the house or near the arbor in the trees. Those are really beautiful spots, but I have a soft place in my heart for fountains! It has such a romantic secret garden vibe to it. So perfect for a wedding!!
Heidi and Rob met on Bumbl, and Heidi came up with THE perfect wedding sign to greet guests as they entered the ceremony site. “Since we both swiped right, there’s no decision tonight. Pick a seat, not a side.” How fun is that?
Heidi & Rob – thank you so much for choosing us to be part of this amazing day! You guys are so much fun to be around, and we just love your joy and your kindness to others. We wish you guys the very best!
*hugs*
Amber
