Lindsey and Huston are the newest Mr and Mrs to celebrate their wedding at Hampton Cove Wedding Plantation, and wow! What a beautiful and heartfelt day! They brought elegance and class to detail – everything from a custom monogram to the most amazing shade of green for the bridesmaids’ dresses.

We photographed Lindsey and Huston’s engagement session late last winter and had the most amazing time getting to know these two! Lindsey met us again for her goooorgeous bridal session just a couple of weeks ago. One of our favorite bonus perks of engagement and bridal sessions is the opportunity to really get to know our couples and what they love. By the time the wedding day came, we were just so ecstatic to see Lindsey and Huston again!

After spending the day with their families, we saw where they got their absolute sweetness and genuine kindness from! Everyone welcomed us with open arms and so much thoughtfulness.

With a string of rainy days, we were all keeping one eye on the forecast throughout the day. We photographed details and getting ready moments to the sound of rain on the roof. Just as we were preparing for the First Look, the rain faded away and we were able to spend the rest of the day outside! Lindsey and Huston were able to have their outdoor ceremony, and we happily photographed outdoor portraits to our heart’s content.

Favorite Wedding Day Details

Lindsey and Huston worked with Chelsea Kennedy Events (a dear friend of ours and an epic wedding planner!) to create so many well thought out details. The paper suite was one of my all-time favorites! They worked with Frances of Ledgewood Fine Stationery to design an entire set of gorgeous paper products and accessories. Wedding signs, guest cups for the reception, custom napkins, and so much more. Suzanne Cunningham created a custom monogram for Lindsey and Huston. I thought that was so fun!

My other favorite detail wasn’t really a detail – it was a group of people! We photographed our sweet Anna and Graham’s wedding almost 3 years ago, and they were guests at this wedding! Lindsey and Anna share many friends from their time at UNA, and we loved seeing so many of those girls again! A fun and sweet bunch.

I also have to give a quick shout out to Anna with Old Frond for creating a stunning bridal bouquet! It perfectly intertwined classic taste with ethereal vibes. One of my favorites!
