Austin and Jillian’s peony-themed May wedding in North Carolina was bursting with color. The bride’s family owns a flower farm full of beautiful peonies – which were incorporated perfectly into this wedding! A field of end-of-the-season blooms made the perfect backdrop for the reception. With a bride as beautiful as the flowers, it made for a picture-perfect wedding!
This sweet bride and groom have been friends since elementary school. The moment Austin and Jillian saw each other for the first time on their wedding day was pure magic. Their joy in one another was bursting!
Then Jillian’s dad saw his little girl. I still get teary-eyed remembering the sweetness of this moment.

Jillian and her bridesmaids kept us laughing and smiling during their entire picture session! Their happiness for her just bubbled over!
The guys were pretty fabulous, as well.
This ring bearer was adorable! He wasn’t crazy about walking down the aisle or posing for pictures. The secret? Smarties. There were smarties hidden on his ring bearer pillow and with his dad at the front of the church. The powers of candy!
It was all about the Smarties that morning! But isn’t he precious? He also happens to be my nephew. <3
