Amanda & Troy // St John the Baptist Wedding

As the southern summer finally came to a close and cool air rustled across Alabama, Troy and Amanda said their vows in a sweet, intimate affair!

The details Amanda added to their day were so special – sachets of dried lavender and rose petals, her mom’s pearls as a bracelet, and the most gorgeous wedding dress! She carried a lace handkerchief that her mom had brought her from Belgium – and saved especially for this wonderful wedding day! We also loved the portraits of her grandparents that she incorporated into her wedding day details.

After an intimate ceremony, we spent a few minutes outside in the gorgeous fall weather taking some sweet portraits of the newlyweds!

We had so much fun taking some time to play with Troy and Amanda’s ’67 Mustang that they spent countless hours restoring! It gleamed in the sunlight and created the most perfect driveaway car! We love it when couples bring in super meaningful touches to their wedding day.

 

 

 

Troy and Amanda, we’re so thankful that we had the blessing of celebrating this day with you! We’re so excited that you found each other (again and at the perfect time!!), and we wish you so many wonderful years together! Hugs!
