Catherine and Boston’s March wedding day at Hampton Cove Wedding Venue couldn’t have been more perfect! Just the right temperature with only the slightest breeze. Not even a drop of rain. Perfect weather like this is something wedding photographers dream of (especially during a typically windy month here in Huntsville). The soft blues and pinks Catherine chose as their wedding colors really complemented the beautiful spring greens – a pop of color without overwhelming the delicateness of spring.
If you know this couple (or remember their really fun garden engagement session in the rain), you know how much fun Catherine and Boston are. Spending the day with them was such a treat! We laughed together, teared up together during speeches, and chased the sunset together full-speed on the golf cart. They spread sunshine and laughter everywhere they go.
A favorite from this day was the groomsmen gifts! Those pocket watches were really neat. You know we’re all about the food, and Cajun Steamer was a winner! Not only was their food fresh and delicious (I mean, those chicken tenders that they fried on-site were so good! And I’m a little picky about beloved chicken tenders.), but their staff was on-point.
Catherine’s stunning wedding dress was absolutely perfect for her! It was perfect for a romantic, fresh spring wedding in the woods, and extra perfect for twirling. I don’t think we’ve asked a bride to twirl nearly as many times as we told Catherine to twirl, but I’m so thankful she let us spin her all day long. Boston didn’t look too shabby in his military uniform himself, and it sure was fun to photograph those two. The spot that I’ve labeled the Secret Garden Gates at Hampton Cove Wedding Venue was my favorite portrait location from the day. We spent some extra time there because I couldn’t get enough!
There’s a lot to love, and we’re excited to share.
Catherine & Boston – Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to share in your wedding story! Your wedding day was packed with special family moments and full-on laughter. Your Notebook vibed engagement session in the rain will forever be such a fun memory, and we’re thankful to go on this journey together. We wish you the very best in your new life together as husband and wife!
*hugs*
