Spring Engagement Session at Huntsville Botanical Garden // Wedding Photographers in Huntsville, Alabama

Engagement sessions are such a special and meaningful part of the unique season of being engaged. We love every single one! Katie and John David came up to Huntsville for the weekend, one that happened to have a crazy mix of weather. Our original Friday evening plans were completely rained out, so we met them the next morning at Huntsville Botanical Garden for a session before they had to head back home. We were greeted by unexpected sunshine and (an expected) stiff March wind that kept us all on our toes! The sunshine really brought a bright spring look to a weekend that had been so dark and rainy, and a little wind had nothing on those two.

We caught the Garden at a perfect time for spring blooms. Having a morning session at the Garden was so interesting because the light is completely different than the 90% of the time we’re there shooting in the afternoon and evening. We got to play around a little bit and find little alcoves that worked with the morning light and kept us out of the wind. It was such a fun morning! Katie and John David are just so kind and sweet. We enjoyed our time with them so much!
