This day was stunning!!! I’ve absolutely fallen in love with the French garden theme we’ve been seeing lately. The details Ally and Mitchell planned for their French blue and white Huntsville Botanical Garden wedding was nothing short of dreamy. A Celebration Garden ceremony paired beautifully with white-draped floral-filled decor for the Carriage House reception. Just wait until you get a peek at the cake table.

Ally and Mitchell’s intimate affair wove together a beautiful collection of elegant luxury and sweet simplicity. Open Carriage House doors (hello, beautiful summer evenings!) brought the Garden’s natural beauty into a perfect reception flow.

Then we have Ally and Mitchell, who are so much fun to be around. They are so sweet together! Ally’s beautiful spirit makes you feel instantly at ease, and Mitchell clearly adores her. They good-naturedly agreed to a few extra sunset portraits and took so much joy in spending time with those who came to celebrate.

A Few of My Favorite Wedding Details

Ally and Mitchell incorporated some super beautiful elements, so it’s hard to pick favorites! It started with the box of wedding day details she gave me, complete with vintage stamps and the cute little gold scissors. I would have happily photographed details all day long, but the best was still coming!

The sunset portraits were another favorite. I just love sunset portraits, and this wedding day in particular had some gorgeous moments. And I always get excited about the Japanese Water Garden as a backdrop!

Definitely the cake. I LOVED that cake. It was different and absolutely beautiful. The delicate white flowers against a beautiful blue frosting was perfect for the reception vibe. And last but definitely not least was the band! We first heard Act of Congress several years ago at a Living Christmas Tree performance, and Joel’s been a fan ever since. We enjoy their music and were thrilled to have a mini-concert all reception long. Epic.
