Farrell and Brian were married on a goooorgeous October afternoon in fall fairytale wedding perfection. Following their ceremony at the stunning St Mary of the Visitation Catholic Church (one of our local favorites to photograph!), they invited family and friends to join them at Burritt on the Mountain to celebrate in style!
With details like super cute koozies encouraging guests to “dance until the cows come home” (Farrell loves cows) and some of THE most delicious appetizers during cocktail hour, there was so much to love.
We had the opportunity to connect and talk through the logistics with Farrell and Brian a few different times during the planning process. Seeing everything come to life and exchanging hugs instead of Zoom waves was really special! Both Farrell and Brian (and their bridal party!) whipped out their goofy sides throughout the day, and we had so. much. fun with them!
Dancing Under A Thousand Stars
We’ve photographed wedding ceremonies and cocktail hours on The View, but this is the first time we’ve had a dance floor out there. We loved it!! Wow, was it ever beautiful! We all had the advantage of perfect fall weather to enjoy (and a few heaters just for good measure after dark).
With twinkling lights and stars above and hundreds of city lights sparkling below in the valley, it was an absolutely perfect place for this princess and her groom.
THE Dress And Those Florals!
I can’t end this blog post without swooning over that dress OR the magical floral creations by In Bloom! Farrell’s dress had 4 layers to that epic train – the dress layer, a satin layer, a sparkle layer, and a lace layer. It took a little bit to get all fluffed out, but it was so worth it.
And when she bustled and twirled, it was straight out of a fairytale. My everything princess-loving heart was so happy. You don’t want to miss those sunset dress twirls!!
I also instantly fell in love with all the bouquets. We looooove a pop of color in the bouquets because it brings a whole new element of depth, joy, and visual interest to both pictures and real life moments. This one was perfect!
