The first time we met Lacey and Cory, we knew we were meant to find each other. We bonded over a love for coffee and travel – and those two topics right there can keep us talking for hours at a time! We’ve been to a lot of the same places, have other places on our bucket lists, and they loved their vanilla lattes. The start of a beautiful friendship, right there.

So when their wedding day came, it was like hugging old friends. We’ve been looking forward to their Huntsville Botanical Garden wedding ever since they became a Joel & Amber Couple! Every moment we spent with them was truly a joy.

A day of joy!!

We started the morning at the bride’s parents’ home – who happen to live just right down the road from us! With the football game on in the background, the house was filled with the happy buzz of girls prepping for the day. Lindsey Allen did an amazing job bringing out all of Lacey’s gorgeous natural beauty with her hair and makeup magic!

After hair and makeup, we all packed up and headed over to Huntsville Botanical Garden to slip into the dress and start with the First Look! Lacey’s Hayley Paige gown from White Dresses is one of my all-time favorites, and Cory definitely approved. With florals by Ginger Willard, Lacey was a vision straight from a dream!

The day flew by quickly with happy memories. Lacey and Cory’s super fun bridal party filled the garden with joy as we found some fun little shady spots for their portraits. After a rain-soaked week, we were so thankful that their wedding day dawned to a gorgeous (rain free!) late September sky!

A sweet ceremony later, we finished up some sunset portraits before headed to the Carriage House to party the night away! Endless Catering treated the guests to a scrumptious family-style dinner of pastas, side dishes, and a salad that I’m still dreaming about. A selection of Edgar’s Cakes rounded out the feast. You know how excited I was about those Edgar’s cakes!! Yuuuuum.

CityBeatz DJ kept the dance floor going, while Endless Catering’s mirror photo booth was a hit all night long. It was a night to remember!

This is a really special set of pictures because these are two very special details! The blue handkerchief and this ring belong to two of Lacey’s grandmothers. The blue handkerchief was also part of Lacey’s sister’s wedding. These little heirloom touches are the best!!

We found a guy as tall as Joel, and they had so much fun together all night long. :)

Lacey & Cory – thank you so much for letting us be a part of this journey and of your wedding day! You two are such sweet souls, and we’ve truly cherished all our time together. Here’s to a lifetime of incredible memories!!
