Micaela & Charles // Forever Session

The Story

The story of this Forever Session began 10 years ago. Joel and I had just moved to Huntsville, and Charles was waiting for his classes with the Navy to start in Pensacola. He came across a chance to do an internship with NASA while he was waiting, so to Huntsville he came.

We met Charles at church on Sunday evening, and we happened to have a fondue party planned that week. Charles came to hang out at the party, and we’re so thankful he did! God knew we needed some Charles and Micaela in our lives – although Micaela comes in a little later in the story.

All the chocolate

As we stuffed our faces with melted chocolate covered fruit (heavy on the chocolate), we discovered that Charles needed a place to crash for a few weeks. Into our guest room he landed. We had 3 amazing weeks hanging out, watching MacGyver, and cheering each other on.

Fast forward a few years – through all our separate adventures – and we get the “I met a girl” Facebook message. Enters Micaela, who we just knew from day 1 was going to be something special.

Balboa Park, can we just bring you back with us?

We could hardly contain our excitement on the plane to San Diego a couple years later, camera bag in tow. These two are dear to our hearts, and spending that sweet time with them is a priceless memory.

Balboa Park isn’t such a bad memory, either…

Mississippi Forever Session

Fast forward a few more years, and we’re headed down to Mississippi to hug their sweet faces and get them in front of our cameras for a new Forever Session. They have a most adorable little addition that we couldn’t wait to get our hands on.
