It’s been a few years since we’ve photographed a wedding at Turtle Point Country Club in Killen, and it was so fun to be back! We already have such great memories there. Celebrating alongside Bella and Briggs certainly added more. What a beautiful day! None of the forecasted rain came to play. There’s something special about getting married right on the water’s edge – especially surrounded by an amazing array of florals.

We first met Bella and Briggs at her brother Cody’s wedding. (Peep those two cuties at Hannah and Cody’s Huntsville Museum of Art wedding here! And definitely don’t miss Bella and Briggs’ downtown Huntsville engagement session.) Already smitten with them, how exciting it was to walk alongside them and capture their own wedding day memories! Truly a gift! Bella and Briggs are so heartfelt and kind. About twenty seconds into our first conversation with Briggs on the wedding day, he was making sure we had everything we needed and knew where to find water and space to store our gear. Even when the day tossed us some toasty August melt-worthy weather, they hung in there like champs. Wind and sun: a classic day on the river!

I just love how Turtle Point is such a meaningful place for their relationship. They came here every summer growing up, and their relationship became official while riding on a jetski. Many moments in between, and here they are. Sharing their vows in the very spot where their story lives. Sunshine, water, memories, and now a new beginning as husband and wife.
