How To Get In The Best Shape Of Your Life For Your Wedding Day! Part 2

In last week’s blog, I introduced you to a couple of my favorite workout programs that are effective and (most days) pretty fun. Today we’re privileged to have Marella Carlton with Beachbody give us some advice on how to whip into shape and stay healthy!

 

As a former bride myself just a few years ago – I know how important it is to look and feel your BEST on your special day! The day you’ve dreamed of ALL through your childhood! As a Beachbody coach, I have the privilege and honor of helping people define their goals and find programs or workout regimens that fit their needs and get the job done! I’d love to share some of this wisdom I’ve acquired over the years and would love to partner with you to get you looking as beautiful as ever on your special day!

 

I’d love to share about three things that I think create a healthy lifestyle. First, exercise is important but without eating healthy, anything you do in the gym or any miles you log on the road can be quickly cancelled out by what’s going on in your kitchen. I think the most valuable part of a healthy lifestyle is eating CLEAN, real foods! When I decided to really get on board with healthy eating –cut out processed foods and do meal-prepping on the weekends so that I was prepared for those busy weekday nights, THAT’S when I saw success and body transformation!

Now, let’s backtrack to exercise! As a bride, if nothing else, exercise is a great way to relieve stress and burn some calories! I used to be an avid runner and cardio machine girl in the gym. I found that in college there was time to spend an hour or two in the gym, but now in my young adult life, there just isn’t time available. Recently, lots of studies have shown that you get maximum results by working out intensely for just 30 minutes. I found that working out at home REALLY gave me a lot more free time that I wasn’t spending driving to the gym or running outside and I really saw major changes in my body and dropped about 15 lbs since I started doing workouts at home. Beachbody has some EXCELLENT home workouts – three of which are only 30 minutes and produce some amazing results! I’m talking inches lost ALLLL over your body and can get you that accented waistline your dream wedding dress was designed for!

The newest program which I’m super excited about is the 21 Day Fix – which provides portion control containers, a great meal plan which takes out ALL the guesswork for what to eat to get maximum results and people in my challenge groups are loosing up to 15 lbs in 21 days! YES! I typed that correctly! Workouts in this program are 30 minutes and totally doable for whatever your current fitness level may be.

 

How do you get results? Commitment! This is nothing new and nothing crazy scientific! Once I committed and had a plan for my eating and exercising – I immediately saw amazing results!
