Summer engagement sessions might be a little hot and humid sometimes, but they sure are beautiful! There’s nothing like the lush vibrancy of a southern summer! Sarah and Greg chose Hays Nature Preserve as the backdrop for this session. Hays Nature Preserve has so much going for it! Sweeping fields, romantic forest trails, and the unmistakable Hays bridge. The golden glow also showed up in all its glory!

Sarah and Greg got married over Zoom during the pandemic and are planning a full celebration next spring with family and friends. We were so honored and thrilled to play a little role in capturing this amazing and unique time in their lives! Greg has an outstanding sense of humor hiding just under the surface of his kind, quiet personality, and he kept us smiling from start to finish. And Sarah couldn’t have been more beautiful!

Their Zoom ceremony setting was an open field, and finding that same vibe at Hays Nature Preserve for them made for something extra special! The light there was also my favorite of the entire session, so it was a win-win for engagement portraits.
