When Kayla and Brandon brought up the idea of doing their engagement session in the Smokey Mountains, we were totally okay with that! While this sweet and fun couple is really what made the session so much fun – the gorgeous backdrops definitely didn’t hurt anything! ;)
We started their session exploring some amazing little spots right around their cabin. The fall colors were just starting to peek out! That always makes a photographer’s heart happy in October. ;)
After some fun shots around those cute little roads, we jumped in the car and headed over to this incredible field Joel and I found on our way over! Mountains in the distance, a wide open field, and tons of space to play around. I’m going to be dreaming about that gorgeous mountain-backed field for days!
Another little detour to a cute little mountain path finished our session – but it was hard to say goodbye! We had such a blast hanging out with them! We’re already looking forward to their wedding next year, for sure! Until then, enjoy a little peek into their Smokey Mountain destination engagement session!
Fun fact: both Kayla and Brandon are amazing volleyball players – and that’s how they met!
