If we could think of one word to describe this wedding, it would be “joy”. These two have so much joy in each other and in their relationship with the Lord. This day was truly a celebration of their love. From our first meeting with these two, we’ve been so struck by their joyful hearts. You will not meet two sweeter people!
Hampton Cove Wedding Plantation was the perfect venue for this dreamy wedding, especially for a bride who loves Anne of Green Gables as much as I do! Exchanging vows beside a lake of shining waters. A romantic backyard swing. Our Anne-loving hearts were so happy. :)

We started off the morning with some gorgeous, gorgeous details. I love the detail shots, and having so much prettiness to capture definitely made my heart happy!
The story of this veil is so sweet. Sarah’s mom found this veil in Italy. Since then, it has graced the weddings of many happy brides as family and friends have worn this timeless veil down the aisle. How special for Sarah’s mom to see her own daughter wear this at her wedding!

There were so many cultures represented at this wedding. It was so neat seeing different traditions coming out!
I know you’ve all been waiting for this!! We found a guy as tall as Joel! We got such a kick out of it! I stood on a chair for part of the reception to get an epic angle into the dancing, and I could shoot grins at these two above the crowd. Shout out to all the tall guys out there! :)

As I told Judy, mother of the bride, the photographers did a wonderful job. You were so much more creative than the photographer for our respective weddings and ours was the best around 30 plus years ago. Your eye for capturing the many details of the wedding, the celebration and the personality of the bride and groom and all those in attendance was amazing. It was a beautiful wedding but as I looked at all of the pictures I realized that it was even more beautiful than I remembered. What a blessing it will be to have all of those moments recorded for the years to come. Thank you! I have you on my “hope chest” list for my two daughters.
