Rustic Spring Engagement Session at Monte Sano State Park // Wedding Photographers in Huntsville, Alabama
We’ve been photographing a lot of our recent engagement sessions in classic Huntsville locations, and we just added Monte Sano State Park to that list! Chelsea and John love the rustic, nature-inspired vibe that Monte Sano brings as a backdrop for their love. Nature is just starting to bring out its vibrant display of southern summer greenery! One of my favorite spots during this session was the rock wall with the evening sun shimmering through the trees. Beautiful!
Chelsea and John made this session so much fun. They’re so easy-going, thoughtful, and simply delightful to be around! The girls came along and totally rocked the camera in their own part of the session. So excited for this sweet family and their big hearts for the future!
I can’t end this blog post without swooning in delight over some really neat Tolkien-inspired wedding details they let us peek at during their session. I’m not going to spoil any surprises now, but you will NOT want to miss the stunning decor and epic details coming up later this summer!

John – There has always been such “goodness” in your face. Thank you for sharing all of these beautiful photos. Each captures your relationship, and I particularly enjoy the images where it is clear you’ve said something to tickle Chelsea’s funny bone. It is clear you bring joy to each other and I will pray that continues for years to come. I’ll never forget the young student who came to see me and Kimber as we welcomed our first child to our family… now nineteen years ago! All the best to you both!
I have no idea how to pick my favorite because they are all amazing. I really love the ones where you look at each other because it is obvious how much you love each other.
