When I say that downtown Huntsville never gets old, I truly mean it! We’ve photographed around a dozen engagement sessions in downtown Huntsville over these last few weeks, and every one of them has been so unique and absolutely stunning! Downtown Huntsville gives us endless location options so we can scout out the very best for the particular season, time of day, and light scenario.
As we chased after the last bit of fall color with Elizabeth and Christian during their engagement session, we stumbled across some spots we haven’t used in months! (Years?) I love how searching for one element (tracking down color that also happens to be in good light) gifts us with the additional joy of rediscovery.
And there’s no one better to chase late fall color with than Elizabeth and Christian! What a treasure they are! We enjoyed our time immensely. I was just so sad when we had to say goodbye! They came to town just for the week, and we were so honored to have them share their precious family time with us. On Iron Bowl weekend. Right in the middle of the game. Kickoff literally happened as we started snapping our first few pictures. If you’re from Alabama, you know the significance of their willingness to spend the afternoon with us!
Their wedding can’t come soon enough because we can’t wait to do this all over again!
*hugs*

What a fun session. I especially love the last black and white of Elizabeth kissing Christian’s cheek while leaning over his shoulder.
