Fantasy Inspired Navy and Gold Fall Wedding at The White Barn at Padgett Place // Wedding Photographers in Huntsville Alabama

Fall wedding season is in full swing, and this wedding had all the warm, rich vibes of fall wedding perfection! Samantha and Jesse created a beautiful celebration that incorporated some of their favorite fantasy touches. The White Barn at Padgett Place is a perfect backdrop for a wedding celebration, with its twinkling white walls and serene lakeside view. Jana pours so much love into her venue and her couples! The warm, rich color palette Samantha and Jesse chose created the most inviting atmosphere. Stunning floral displays highlighted pretty pops of gold throughout the reception space. The result was stunning and just perfect for a fall wedding!

We started the day embracing October’s 86-degree sunshine and Samantha’s sweet and joyful wedding morning moments. One thing that really stands out about Samantha is how well she cares for everyone around her. She notices all the little things and looks to make everyone happy and comfortable, even on her own wedding day. We enjoyed our time with Sam and Jesse throughout the day – so sweet and fun!

After some portraits with the girls and then the guys, we got ready for their beautiful lakeside ceremony! A ring warming moment as guests found their seats created a unique touch to the ceremony. After exchanging vows, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour and yard games while we finished up portraits and got ready for the grand reception entrance. After some chill reception moments and a private last dance (one of my favorite wedding day moments!), they waved goodbye to a most beautiful day.

A Few of My Favorite Wedding Details

Samantha and Jesse really enjoy the fantasy/literary world, and I loved how they seamlessly wove tidbits of fantasy throughout their entire day. While I don’t know much about Harry Potter myself, we definitely speak Lord of the Rings and reveled in the opportunity to photograph Andúril (Aragorn’s sword) and taste-test a German chocolate Minas Tirith.

With a nod to German roots, Samantha and Jesse chose a German-inspired meal to serve their guests. It was delicious! Having a unique and creative spin on dinner at the reception is a highlight. It’s so fun and everyone comments on it!

There was so much to love about this wedding day, and I’m excited to share many of the special moments and details.
