As we walked through the second floor Flying Monkey Arts studio at Lowe Mill last weekend for Angela & Tim’s Forever Session, I couldn’t help but feel that happy heart squeeze.
Being wedding photographers, we have an incredible opportunity to help our sweet couples hold onto the special wedding memories forever. But we also believe that the journey doesn’t stop there! The wedding is just Day One of a marriage that is a precious, beautiful, challenging, humbling, and unique relationship. One that’s always worth fighting for.
So as we walked past the artist tables filled with fascinating wares, I felt the beauty of Angela & Tim (and Claire’s!) story. The nights swing dancing at the Flying Monkey Theatre. The Saturdays spent laughing with Claire as she swings past light streaming through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The Piper and Leaf tea dates.
We spent the afternoon wandering through their Lowe Mill story together and capturing those memories. Swinging on the swings. Laughing in front of the theatre. Walking through the hallways. Swing dancing in the sunshine. In 10 years, in 20 years, in 30 years… they’ll look back and remember those joyful and irreplaceable days together.
