This was a fun one! Laura and Austin’s wedding at Creekside at Collier’s End in Mooresville had so much vibrancy, energy, and beautiful memories. The light blue color palette was stunning against the natural and vibrant beauty of Creekside’s garden backdrops. These two glow when they’re together, and Laura was such a beautiful bride. Everything about them and their wedding day was so joyful!

Laura and Austin have their GQ look nailed, and it was fun adding in some more editorial style poses for them. The soft seating added throughout the venue provided amazing seating for both the guests during the reception and our couples for portraits! And what a thrill to see another one of our J&A Couples there as wedding guests (and a J&A groomsman or two). Just everything about this day is something to smile about.

A Few of My Favorite Details

I really loved all the little things Laura and Austin added to their day. Things like the soft seating, a basket of flip fops, packs of tissues at the ceremony guest book table, Laura’s custom sunglasses, a selection of small bite desserts, late night bling, and so many others. I appreciate some thoughtful details!

And speaking of the thoughtful details, the late night slider cart was just amazing. Chef on Call’s team came around with an entire slider cart! Juicy little hamburgers with a selection of toppings, wheeled right up to partying guests. It was fantastic.

Laura and Austin’s wedding cake was so beautiful! I love the impressionistic art and pop of blue. A favorite! Another thing I appreciated was the focus Laura and Austin had on spending time with their guests. They invested some extra time into their day to be able to enjoy the cocktail hour before their private meal and sunset portraits. And speaking of sunset portraits, don’t miss theirs!
