Jeremy and Mackenzie’s Historic Downtown Decatur Engagement Session! – Huntsville Wedding Photography

When we first met Jeremy and Mackenzie at our favorite local tea shop (hello, Piper and Leaf!), it took about 3 seconds to know that we just clicked with these two. Their sweet spirits and kind hearts won us over instantly. Hearing them talk about their dreams for their wedding and seeing how excited they were was so much fun!
We met up with Jeremy and Mackenzie in the beautiful historic downtown district of Decatur. I’m a huge fan of crepe myrtles because their gorgeous blooms last all summer long! We found so many pretty little spots that let us frame this super cute couple under those pops of pink. Combine that with a dreamy riverfront gazebo (where Jeremy proposed!) and our newest adorable J&A Puppy Dog, Trax – and you get a most perfect evening.
We loved this little puppy! Trax was so well behaved and couldn’t be any cuter. <3 We love our J&A Puppy Dogs!
Jeremy proposed in this gazebo (so romantic!!), so we just had to stop and take some cute pictures!
Some of my very favorite shots during an engagement session are those super real moments that are totally unplanned!
Jeremy and Mackenzie, we are just so excited for you two! We’re so thankful to have you in our lives and to go on this crazy and amazing journey with you! We can’t wait for the wedding!! <3
