Sandhya and Seth shared a private, intimate ceremony earlier this year in New York. This past weekend, they came back to Huntsville to celebrate their marriage with family and friends!

Before guests arrived, we gathered with family to take several family portraits. Seeing Sandhya’s family again was such a treat. We enjoyed the Kumar family so much at Cassie and Manoj’s wedding! After family portraits were done, we spent some quiet time capturing the two of them together before heading back in for the cocktail hour!

Happiness Times Two!

When Sandhya emailed us about photographing her reception celebration, we were so excited! We first met Sandhya at her brother Manoj’s wedding a couple years ago. I remember telling Joel after the wedding how much I liked Sandhya. Her genuine, kind nature is impossible to miss from the moment you meet her.

We met Seth for the first time that afternoon, but it’s clear that he’s a perfect match for her. Watching them together was a joy! They’re both thoughtful, kind and giving. Listening to the toasts and stories shared by family confirmed both opinions. Sandhya is as amazing as we knew she was, and Seth is perfect for her!

Fast forward 2 years, and we celebrated the night away with Sandhya and Seth! We also got to spend some time catching up with our J&A couple Cassie & Manoj – which was a super fun bonus that we were really looking forward to!

The Dream Team

Whenever Kris Clark is involved, we know it’s going to be amazing. Her talent for draping, florals, and design concepts is breath-taking. Sandhya and Seth’s reception was no exception! Kris dreamt up a garden theme that incorporated details inspired by Sandhya’s Indian heritage and the couple’s love for New York City’s Central Park.

Traditional Indian details like brightly colored table cloths complimented the elegant simplicity of greenery. A New York City Central Park theme transformed the fondue dessert table, complete with a park bench and cityscape lighted background.

The Westin provided a stunning display of Indian food at both the cocktail hour and dinner service. Dessert included a chocolate fondue bar and Gulab Jamun. Metropolitan DJ was there to help everyone celebrate the night away!
