Remember our sweet Charlotte and George? Their wedding at The Ledges was an elegant and joyful occasion (and you can check it out here).

To make everything even better, there’s another amazing layer to their wedding celebration!

On Thursday, Charlotte and George had a Greek Orthodox ceremony at Holy Cross – Saints Constantine & Helen Orthodox Church. It was the first time we had an opportunity to photography a Greek Orthodox ceremony. It was such a neat experience!

The building itself was intricate and elegant. The chandeliers were brought over from Greece! Everything from the building to the ceremony itself was steeped with the traditions of this faith.

The hour long event was filled with traditional ceremonies, golden crowns, and prayers. Afterwards, we took Charlotte and George outside into the golden sunset for a few wedding portraits! We knew their Saturday wedding was going to a rainy southern spring day. We took advantage of those last few rays of gorgeous light!
