When you know, you know. That’s how we felt at our very first coffee date with Melissa and Alex. I think the meeting lasted over two hours because the four of us couldn’t stop talking! They love Maui and speak the language of coffee. Instant friendship right there!

Melissa and Alex met us in Hampton Cove for a fun engagement session that perfectly balanced elegance and a splash of fun. From black-tie to jeans and Harry Potter, this couple knew how to make this session their own. I may or may not have Melissa’s adorable dress in my online shopping cart right now… When Melissa and I show up at our next J&A Event wearing the same dress, now you know why!

Chasing Waterfalls

We chose Hampton Cove because they loved the waterfall. The waterfall that we drove up to discover is under maintenance. Eek! Thankfully, the golf course has a little waterfall of their own! Plan B worked out just fine, and we had a lot of fun using a new little spot.

After a little dash of black-tie elegance along the fairy-garden inspired spots, they donned more casual outfits and broke out Harry Potter! They’re big Harry Potter fans, and I loved how they brought that piece of personality into their engagement session.
