I love a unique engagement session location, especially one with a story! When Grace and I were talking about location options, Elgie’s Walk Greenway was top of the list. It’s on the other side of town from where we live, so I had never even heard of it before. Well, I’m a fan now! It’s so quiet and peaceful there. There’s a trail winding past the lake, lined by trees that give a perfect nature-loving feel.

Elgie’s Walk is extra special for Grace and Andrew because it holds many of their memories together! It’s the place Andrew proposed, so it automatically rises to platinum status for this story. They live nearby and it’s a comfortable and familiar place for this season of their story. We heard all about the resident alligator and did our best to coerce him to show up for some pictures. How cool would that be? We found a few logs, but Mr Gator had other plans for our afternoon. Maybe next time!

Grace loves a good fairytale. I couldn’t be more excited about their winter wedding at a castle!, and we gave a nod to the world of fairytales by incorporating a few books into the session. Another favorite part from this engagement session was the perfectly placed bench, surrounded by wildflowers. It was so perfect.

We had a blast with these two and can’t wait for their fairytale winter wedding in a few months!
