Remember that reeeaaallly cold Saturday in April? 40 degrees kind of cold, with a relentlessly whipping wind? That was the day of this session. Abbie & Jeff took it in stride, though, and we were all thankful that only 1/4 of the session time was outside….

And guess where we spent the other 3/4 of the session?

At Turbo Coffee in Florence! Which just happens to be one of our favorite coffee shops in the world. With one of the sweetest couples, who also love coffee and love Jesus. Two of our favorite things.

Abbie & Jeff spent a lot of Saturday mornings together at Turbo, and this is a special part of their story. We love it when we get to use those story pieces to bring even more impact to our couple’s engagement session.

It brings the story alive, especially when a single picture contains layers of memories.

The table where you shared your first coffee date. The counter where baristas served you all those caramel lattes. The motorcycle helmet that you remember seeing over her shoulder as you shared hopes and dreams.

One of my favorite little details about this session were the bright yellow mugs. Pops of color in a modern and hip coffee shop, they reminded me of how these love stories are beautiful pops of color in this world. Stories that bring joy.

Real life and real love. They’re sometimes beautiful and sometimes messy.

They’re made up of a bunch of little moments. How we live each of these moments add up to these memories of life and love that we hold in our hearts.
