Cassie & Manoj // The Westin Indian-American Fusion Wedding

What a joy these two are! Cassie and Manoj not only brought beautiful and rich colors to their wedding day, but they brought so much joy and happiness to everyone around them.

We were really excited about their vision to blend together their cultures for their wedding celebration. They brought elements of both Manoj’s Indian culture and Cassie’s American culture to every part of the day! We especially love how they started the day wearing traditional Indian clothing – then changed to traditional American outfits for the reception. So much fun to have two different looks!

The day awakened with golden sunshine and a cool breeze. After a hot southern summer that extended well into October, Cassie and Manoj’s wedding day promised to fulfill every dream of beautiful {cooler} fall weather!

As Kris Clark Designs and Metropolitan DJ worked their magic outside, transforming both the outdoor ceremony site and the reception ballroom into something breath-taking, Ashley the Fabulous and Leslie Ware were creating their own magic with hair and makeup! The groom’s mom invited her friends to help the girls into their saris. It was a bustle of the most joyful activity!

Cassie and Manoj chose to start the day with traditional Indian outfits. All the rich colors of the bridal party were so beautiful! Their wedding included many ceremonies from Manoj’s culture, as well as the traditional American vows.

After the ceremony was over, the guests enjoyed a cocktail hour while Cassie, Manoj, and the wedding party changed into traditional American outfits. We took advantage of some pretty light by a romantic carousel to capture some more pictures!

The reception was absolutely amazing. Kris Clark Designs and Metropolitan DJ turned that ballroom into a fairytale with draping, florals, chandeliers, and uplighting. Complete with some (delicious!) Indian food served that the reception, of course! I couldn’t get enough of all the beautiful saris that these gorgeous women were wearing!! So colorful and rich!

After dancing the night away, Cassie and Manoj closed their evening with a sweet dance. What wonderful memories of this day!

 

Cassie and Manoj, thank you so much for letting us be a part of this amazing day! You two are such a sweet, fun couple and we couldn’t imagine our J&A Family without you! Thank you for sharing your traditions and your families with us! Have fun in Singapore! We can’t wait to hear all about it! <3
