Talk about DREAMY! Abbie and Charlie’s Cape Canaveral destination engagement session included historic architecture in downtown Cocoa, the rockets at Kennedy Space Center, AND a splashing through beach surf! We planned an entire engagement afternoon with these guys, and every minute was absolutely amazing!

Abbie gets the credit for tracking down all 3 locations, from the architecture to an almost deserted beach. She created an epic PowerPoint inspiration design with outfit plans, pictures of the locations, and all the details. Typically I do most of the location planning for our destination engagement sessions, but hers was so perfect that I got to sit back and enjoy the ride! They even treated us to dinner at one of the most delicious hidden gem restaurants in Cocoa Beach afterward. We try to spoil our couples whenever we can, but we left feeling like we were the ones getting showered in the love!

Abbie and Charlie live/work around the rockets in Florida, and doing their engagement session here was the perfect way to represent this piece of their story. We started out at the Porcher House in downtown Cocoa. The tall white pillars and romantic archways brought a splash of classic elegance to their session. The next stop was none other than Kennedy Space Center itself, with the iconic rockets towering just behind them. The silhouette there was epic! We ended their session at a quiet beach near Patrick Space Force Base just before sunset. The wind was super crazy, but the rain held off until the very end!

I kept this blog post under wraps a few extra weeks because we had a special engagement reveal session with Abbie, Charlie, and their families last night here in Huntsville, and I’m SO excited to finally be sharing this engagement session with you! We can’t wait for their Huntsville Botanical Garden wedding later this summer!
