Summer Wedding at Burritt on the Mountain // Wedding Photographers in Huntsville, Alabama
Another beautiful Burritt on the Mountain wedding! It started out as a rainy morning, but the weather cleared in time for portraits and to allow Afton and Kyle to exchange their vows on The View! Afton was a stunning bride, and I loved how her colorful florals contrasted with the serene sky and valley view of the ceremony site. We knew from their classic downtown Huntsville engagement session earlier this year that these two would rock the camera, and we were right!
Not only are Afton and Kyle an absolute joy to be around, but I’m also so impressed at their ability to roll with the punches! Their November wedding had to be quickly rescheduled for August when Kyle’s military training schedule was suddenly moved. Their new date also happened to be right as we were expecting our baby girl to arrive. We’re so thankful for Tina with Twenty Oaks Photography and April with April Stanley Photography for filling in for us while we were just getting home from the hospital with Arielle! They are incredibly talented – as these pictures show!
Afton and Kyle are a dynamic couple, and we are so thrilled for their new lives together. They’re going to do amazing things! We can’t wait to cheer them on. In the meantime, we’ve got some gorgeous wedding day pictures for you.

This was more than wedding, it was an adventure. So much needed to go right for this wedding to take place. From having to move the date up 90 days, to a fire at the venue after it was rebooked, to open dates for the vendors, to Amber’s due date (of Joel & Amber Photography) and that’s not even half of it.
