A couple weeks ago, we shared Meghan and Emory’s gorgeous sunset Forever Session on the blog. I promised we’d share a glimpse of our amazing day at the Memphis Zoo, and today is the day!
I think the last time I’ve visited a real, legit zoo was Disney’s Animal Kingdom back in high school. When Meghan and Emory threw out the idea of a trip to the zoo, we were super excited!
An amazing J&A Couple who have become dear friends, exploring a new city, PLUS all kinds of fun animals to watch? It sounds like a magical combination to us!
These red pandas were so adorable! We couldn’t get enough of them.
Crazy. I’ve never seen this creature before! I wanted to cuddle it, but that probably wouldn’t have been a great idea. :)
So Joel’s hand was a little bit smaller than the gorilla’s handprint…
But the young gorilla’s handprint fit his perfectly! Haha!!
He’s a cutie, AND he carried my coffee around for me. He’s a keeper, I think. :)

We took a little break for funnel cake fries! I’ve never had that version of funnel cake before, but it sure was easier to share!
One of our favorite parts was watching this seal show! The tricks they did were really fun.
And we ended our zoo adventure with a walk through this house of birds. It was really cool that you could go inside!
