Creative Ways to Use Your Engagement Photos

You had the most fun engagement session ever and love your pictures!! Besides the obvious options of using them on social media, your wedding website, and Save the Dates, what next?

We’re huge believers in printing your pictures and turning them into something tangible you can enjoy in everyday life. Here are a few ways you can bring your engagement pictures to life and make the most of them during this exciting season!

What To Do With Your Engagement Pictures?

1. Print An Engagement Guest Book

This is top of my list because it’s one of my favorites! I have an entire blog post and Resource Library guide on engagement guest books, but I’ll summarize here. Your favorite engagement pictures are printed in a hardcover album and paired with white space for your guests to sign well wishes on the wedding day. Not only do you get to display your favorite engagement pictures in a beautiful way, you’ll also get to preserve the notes from the most important people in your lives in a place you’ll be able to see it. 2. Engagement Photo Album

If you have different plans for your wedding guest book, you can still preserve your engagement photos in album form! Just ask for an engagement photo album instead of the guest book, and we can eliminate the extra white space to highlight all your favorite portraits in a beautiful way.

3. Display Prints At Your Reception

Almost all our couples have engagement pictures somewhere at their reception! Small framed 4×6 prints as table displays, a 20×30 canvas or framed print at the entrance or gift table, and as table decor are all popular ways to use your engagement pictures. Figure out what fits your decor scheme the best and show off your favorite pictures with your favorite person!

4. Custom Printed Decor

You can print your pictures on literally anything, from custom cookies and table numbers to guest favor magnets and keychains. The sky is the limit when it comes to custom photo products, so find something that totally matches your personality!

5. Send One To Your Grandma

Definitely do this! Grandmas and moms love pictures of their families. It might seem obvious, but don’t forget to take the time to do it.

6. Create A Reception Gallery Wall

This one is so fun! Gallery walls are becoming so popular, and you can customize it to the look you want! If your venue has a long, blank wall, you could space 8×10 or 11×14 framed prints art gallery style along the wall. If you have a smaller space to work with (think single reception wall or foyer entrance), you can create a wall of 12 4×6 framed prints for big impact. Some couples like their gallery wall to have a pop of color, and others love the black and white look. There are so many options – and you get to move it to your house or give them away as gifts after the wedding.

7. Print a canvas or framed print for your home

Or one up that with a canvas collection! Just like your wedding photos, your engagement pictures are timeless. Family pictures will be updated through the years, but there’s only one engagement session and only one wedding. Let them both shine! You can do double duty by displaying the entire collection at your wedding reception, as well.

8. Create Custom Photo Stickers

These are so fun to use! Print your favorite engagement pictures on custom stickers and use them everywhere! Save the dates, wedding favors, thank you notes, Christmas cards, and pretty much everything else. It’s a fun and inexpensive way to add flair to your engagement and newlywed season of life.

Find your own perfect way to enjoy them.

Whether your perfect idea for printing photos is a single 4×6 print on your foyer table or a full gallery wall at your reception, the most important thing is always to do something with them. Don’t let your favorite pictures get dusty on a hard drive. Figure out what your perfect thing is and do it!
