Engagement Session at Wormsloe Historic Site and historic downtown Savannah // Wedding Photographers in Huntsville, Alabama

An absolute dream. That’s what it felt like when we stepped into the live oak avenue at Wormsloe Historic Site just outside of Savannah, Georgia for Landyn and Chris’ engagement session. It was literally like stepping into a movie. That’s probably why movies like The Last Song and Roots chose to use this location! It’s over a mile of breathtaking scenery, and that’s what we got to use as a backdrop for Landyn and Chris’ epic Savannah engagement session. They were absolute perfect for their session, from their outfits to the sweet smiles, and we couldn’t have been on a higher cloud 9.

If an avenue of live oaks wasn’t enough, we next headed to Chris’ parent’s private property for a few pictures near the salt marshes. We even got to include their puppy dog in a few shots! It was a perfect place for outfit changes, as well as incorporating an extra meaningful spot for Landyn and Chris.

And if THAT weren’t enough for our ultimate happiness, we headed over to the historic downtown area for some classic Savannah looks. The famous fountain at Forsyth, late afternoon sunshine peeking through the Spanish moss, and grand historic houses of Jones Street were icing on the cake for their Savannah session. Jones Street is famous for being one of the most beautiful streets in America.

Savannah is one of our all-time favorite locations for engagement sessions, but the very best part was definitely Landyn and Chris! What a kind, fun, precious couple they are! We enjoyed every minute with them so much. Their Sewanee Inn wedding next spring is going to be just as epic, and we can’t wait!
