All the Instagram pictures, all the Facebook posts, all the Tweets, all the blogs and all the people! All your friends and family are happily posting away about your incredible day. All those details, the flowers, the ring bearer, the joyful tears shed, and the smiles flashed. But with everything going on, some of it gets lost in the mix.
How do you keep track of it all? That Facebook picture of your bridal luncheon quickly gets scrolled past, the Instagram picture that your great Uncle George posted gets quickly forgotten. You want to see all the pictures, all the people, and all the posts, but it’s so easy to miss out on them with the buzz of a wedding. So how can you see it all again?
Use a hashtag specifically for your wedding!
Be sure to tell everyone about it too! Put it on your invitation or save the date, put it on the back of your programs, and even put a sign out at the reception with your hashtag on it.
If everyone who posts something related to your wedding uses your specific hashtag, then after the wedding it’s super easy to go back and look at all the pictures and posts about you!
You want to try to keep the hashtag unique so other people’s posts won’t get mixed in. But from what we’ve seen, it’s not too hard to come up with something cute! And if you add the year to it, that can always help keep it unique.
