To the one who’s been there from the very beginning.

The one who dressed us in those cute little outfits on our first day of kindergarten.

(The outfits that we laugh over now, but hey! They were the height of style back then…)

To the one who wiped away the third grade tears and who gave the seventh grade fears a serious pep talk.

The one who came to every eighth grade volleyball game and ninth grade fundraiser.

The one who soothed away the SAT stress and cried a river during graduation.

The one who always had a fridge full of food and laundry detergent waiting on weekends home from college.

The one who cheered us on and reminded us that our wings were strong…and that we could fly.

To the one who tirelessly planned details and made sure every wedding plan was just right.

To the one who means more than words can express.
