THANK YOU!!!

Have we said it too much already?  Have we too thorougly expressed how excited we are about our new look?  Because we are!  But with every big undertaking like this, there is a HUGE effort that goes behind making it happen!

When Amber and I sat down many months ago and decided we wanted to build something bigger, we really had very little idea of how to go about it.  We had read many books and blogs on how to build a better experience, but to put that into reality… yikes!  It was a daunting task!

We’ve had a lot of people ask us about each of our new brand elements. Today we wanted to share who was behind this amazing work, and to give them the shout out they all deserve!

One of the first things we got to do was spend an afternoon with our good friend Lauren Tomasella!  She’s a wedding photographer here in Huntsville and took pictures of us for our new look.  It was honestly a lot of fun being in front of the camera, and Lauren did an incredible job with the pictures!  You’ve probably seen them all over our websites… we just can’t get enough of them!  We’ll definitely have to do that again! :D

Probably our biggest impact was from our friends, Zach and Jody Gray.  We’ve both followed them for years and learned SO much from them.  We were over the moon with excitement when we actually got to spend a day to talk about our business with them!  We’ve said a bit in the past about this, but this meeting really gave us a solid game plan of where we’re heading.  Thank you Zach and Jody for inspiring and guiding us!

The trickiest part of this whole process was trying to find out what we wanted our new website to look like!  After spending a lot of time on pinterest and browsing a wide variety of sites, we had Tiffany Kelly design our logo and brand look, and Jeff and Jen from Tonic Site Shops customize our website and blog (shout out to Jeff and Jen for amazing customer service!).  It was such an exciting time to pick out our color palette, customize our logo, and then build our website to match!

 

 

Then on top of all the online presence, we updated all the printed materials and packaging for our couples!  This was honestly a lot of fun, trying to figure out what would make the best looking package possible!  We enlisted the help of another one of our friends, Jacki, from Salt and Paperie to design all our printed materials!  We’re super stoked about how they all turned out!

And of course, a huge thank you to all our past couples who have made us want to become better photographers, better business owners, and better people in the end.  Thank you!!
