Susie and Tyler are married! Their wedding day dawned into a gorgeous late April day of the best kind. No rain, no crazy wind, and plenty of spring sunshine. We met Susie and her girls at The Westin to capture the getting ready moments with them. This is always a fun, laid-back time of anticipation! It has a feeling all of its own!
And when I saw Susie in her dress and veil for the first time, I literally swooned. It was so beautiful on her! After the girls were perfect, we headed over to Huntsville’s First United Methodist Church. It’s such an iconic Huntsville location. You can’t go wrong with getting married in a pretty white church with the spaciousness of a Westin reception!
Some vows, a few portraits, and lots of laughs later, we headed back to the Westin for a super fun reception! I LOVE it when couples incorporate cultural traditions and dances into their reception. It adds so much sparkle to the celebration and makes it so much fun to watch. Don’t miss scrolling to the end to check out the reception!
A Few of My Favorite Wedding Details
Definitely the cultural dances at the reception. I love watching them! The speeches from brothers/bridal party was also a favorite. I laughed and legit cried (little bro!) my way through them. There are also way too many pictures from Susie and Tyler’s first dance because it was one of the best I’ve seen!!
Susie’s dress! Every Kleinfeld Bridal dress has been a stunning favorite, and this was no exception. The entire ensemble Susie put together was a dream.
The way Susie and Tyler adored each other – and the way everyone in the room clearly adored them – was so special. It was fun to capture.
